papa's new bag

Since I lost my last pair of spectacles at a naked, gay, drunk, hot-tub party, I’ve been squinting (I tried to get them back, but the guy died.) When MadRose and I took the kids to see Star Wars, I realized making Chinese eyes wasn’t going to cut it any longer, and since I am going on a trip this weekend, need them for driving. Usually I don’t read road signs in town, and use the android navigator pointer if I don’t know the way. I’ve never gotten a nice pair of glasses before, but have leaned toward metal and partially rimless for some time, and found these frames that look like mini-sculptures.

As it turns out, the Casanova line was influenced by a Futurist exhibit, citing ideas from surrealism, abstractionism, cubism, and symbolism. It’s funny because when I looked at them, I thought they looked like Kandinsky made into frames :D

Apparently some of the lower production runs are actually collectible, so if I don’t lose these I may get my money back.
